CCTA Finals Night 2023
A fantastic night was had by all at the CCTA Full-Length Play Festival Finals Night in Flint Mountain Hotel on Friday the 27th October, 2023.
11 plays were in contention, and Rhyl Liberty Players achieved lots of recognition.
Sara Griffiths and Peter Crump were nominated for Best Female and Male Actor (respectively) for Calendar Girls.
Helena Bollen and Roger Bell were nominated for Best Supporting Female and Male Actor (equally respectively) for Calendar Girls.
Alison Roberts and George Kelly were nominated for Best Female and Male Actor (respectively) for Guards! Guards!, and Liz Hughes was nominated for Best Female Supporting Actor.
The cast of Calendar Girls won a special award for "the excellent team spirit in the photoshoot" scene, and Tom Hope-Parry also got one for "his brilliant Errol and Librarian's mask".
Enormous congratulations to Sara Griffiths for winning Best Female Actor for The Crucible
